Next week is International Women’s Day. This is what our country does to celebrate it.

As all of you may know, on the 8th of March the world celebrates International Women’s Day. Us, Toopians, will celebrate it as well. What can you expect?
For the world, International Women’s Day is a big deal. Of course we think it’s important as well but we think there shouldn’t be a special day to celebrate us, we celebrate it every day. So why do we participate anyway? Well it would be very ironic to be the only country to not celebrate it. We want to, of course, thank all the women in our country and from all over the world for being as strong as they are. Because we want to thank them, the IWD is the perfect time to show our appreciation.
So what do we do? On this day we want to entertain women and make them feel appreciated. All men who have been sentenced to death in the past year will be selected for our own version of The Hunger Games. Women can watch this at home but can also decide to go to the festival to watch it on a big screen. At the end of the games, our leader will give a big speech that will, as always, be very inspiring. When you go to the festival you can expect a huge party with female DJ’s like Mandy, Korsakoff and many more.
The Festival
It’s going to be a big spectacle, like always has been. If you are a woman, then you’re automatically invited to the festival. I will be there and I recommend all of you to come as well because, like every year, it’s going to be amazing.
